Coordinates HUD, this pulls up a small HUD that displays your coordinates so you dont have to have so much text covering your screen to see where you are. The one thing that is clear is that if sharks do actually go to sleep, they don't close their eyes to do so. Only 1 player must sleep to pass the night, as the server grows we may change this to require half the server or a set number to sleep. This makes them look even more fierce because you can no longer see their pupil or iris, just the white of their eye. Eyelids vary from species to species. Some can’t sleep at all, and the ones that do never close their eyes. Other species, such as the Great White and Whale Shark, have no membrane but are able to roll their eyes back into the protection of the eye socket instead. Sharks do not experience sleep the same way humans do. So the membranes act as protective shields in these instances. The membrane seems to function as protection for the eyes when hunting or during an attack where the eyes may get scratched. Some species have a 3rd eyelid, for want of a better term, which covers over each eye. With sharks, their eyes are kept clean due to the fact that they are swimming through water. Unlike us, they are never in a completely unconscious state. Our blink functionality is there so that our eyes are kept clean and moist. However, their way of sleeping is very different from ours. So they are unable to blink as humans can. They typically stay in the kelp forest areas, where they can hide amongst the kelp, and large predators don’t really swim through the kelp. Sharks Don’t Sleep is a Solarpunk, Action-Adventure food comic for an Adult audience. These are: Immobile Sleeping while breathing through spiracles. There are two main methods sharks use to rest or, as we might call it, ‘sleep’. The upper and lower eyelids on these fish do not close all the way across the eyes. But they typically stay in the shallower more crowded area that sharks don’t venture to as much. Sharks don’t just cuddle up and sleep in fact, they do not even close their eyes while they are asleep or immobile (the primary reason being the absence of eyelids). And while that's partially true, it's only true because they don't sleep in the same way that. Despite having eyelids, these creatures do not actually close their eyes - not even whilst they lie still (if they are a species that is able to be motionless) nor while having a rest period in terms of limited brain or cerebral activity. A lot of people think that sharks don't sleep.
